says biggest mistake of his life was wearing a Nazi party costume. Not killing 25 people in Afghanistan (v. often civilians were killed in these ops!) For those celebrating his anti-racism, what does it mean if you don’t criticise an imperial war?
Prince Harry has disclosed that he killed 25 people in his role as an Apache helicopter pilot during his second tour of duty in Afghanistan, Daily Mail reported.

Having lived in Germany for years, seen German foundations work upclose in Africa and Asia too, they just can’t take our people speaking back, being more intelligent and humane. Colonial mentality that they think can get away with because they wear a shalwar kamiz.

In Kenya, someone asks us when hearing we‘re Pakistani: „What’s wrong with Pakistan? They’re chasing Afghans out, why??“
The shame. The stupidity. The cruelty is clear.
What's happening to Afghans in Pakistan is a part of a longer anti-Afghan, anti-Pashtun, anti-poor story, but also shows the total failure of the PML-N govt. The fau-radicalsim of their opposition era has shown itself. They'll do whatever the real bosses want
#StopDeportations
More footage of good people in Pakistan calling out German ambassador. At a conference about human rights in Pakistan where people have courage to speak out against state violence in Balochistan they connect the struggles and speak for Palestine. Germany enabled this genocide.
pakistan: human rights activists disrupting German ambassador.. good! Germany sends its ambassadors& political foundations across the South, condescending in the best of circumstances but in the midst of a genocide funded by Germany, NO THANKS.

Afghan refugees aren’t freeloader namak haram; they helped build cities in Pakistan & made them home. Xenophobia after sledging in cricket and spectator hooliganism, has roots in insecurities of the post-colonial state. I discuss Dr Sanaa Alimia’s new book

Starting in 2010 I started collecting oral histories of Afghans in Karachi+ Peshawar. It was depressing then to document arrests, death, + mistreatment. 13 years on (13!!!) depressing to know not much changes. Read:
@ShahmeerAlbalos
Were all the best teachers you had in your life women? Or is this my experience? (Also per-uni I mainly had women as teachers). At university the superstars were usually men. But the people who transformed my life were women.
Reminds me of when a PROFESSOR of Islamic Studies in Germany told me I am not a good Muslim because I don't wear hijab and show skin. We only exist as "objects" stuck in time that can be dissected to "prove" whatever idotic racist fantasies these fools have.
Trucks filled with the rare assets Afghans could bring back. Most are dispossessed, extorted, and arrive with nothing. Governments usually observe a moratorium on winter evictions but not this caretaker Pakistani government. Zero rules apply, a story of refoulement.
Going through my 2013(!) PhD and an appendix where I recorded food stampedes and suicides from poverty. Terrible to read then as it is now. May they all rest in peace and power. May we all work to produce the conditions in which this is not unusual.
A stampede at a Ramadan food distribution centre in Pakistan’s city of Karachi has killed at least 11 people, all women and children, say police and rescue officials

8/ Germany is hard place to live if not-white. But the health service is good. And infrastructure. Plus Berlin playgrounds for my kids. So, you know, between being killed off my a crumbling NHS or depression from racism in German workplaces, we have some tough choices!
The UK feels like a sinking ship with folks like this at the helm.
Close minded bigots who know exactly what they’re doing and backed up by a party only too happy to have brown faces doing the ideological anti-migration (of a certain type) work that’s come to define the Tories.
