@tobyliiiiiiiiii There is no “competition” No one should care if China beats us there first with their tiny little lander that cannot support long term stay. It’s not about landing back FIRST it’s about LONG TERM STAY. Which vehicle can carry massive amounts of cargo and crew needed to
USA BACK TO THE MOON FIRST BEFORE CHINA RANT! Dear Sean, you need to understand this DEEPLY! It does NOT matter who gets back to the MOON FIRST! IT ONLY matters who can BUILD and MAINTAIN a base the quickest! BO Mark 1: 2 crew 3 metric tons. BO Mark 2: 20 metric tons

FUN FACT: Zach just LIED to his 900k+ followers AGAIN! He Claims Vegas Loop took "10 years" for 5 miles—wrong. Core 1.7-mile LVCC Loop bored in 18 months (2019-2021); total operational ~3.5 miles by 2025, with expansions ongoing. Boring Co. founded 2016, but Vegas started 2019.
Fun fact: The NYC Subway system was built 100 years ago, it was 9 miles when it first opened and took 4 years to construct. It handled 150,000 people in its first day . The Boring Company loop in Vegas drilled a total of 5 miles in 10 years, and handles at its peak... 30,000

Would love to have 14.2 before thanksgiving to show all the relatives
Tldr; we expect a new build of Full Self-Driving (either V14.1.6 or V14.2) to be released in under a week. The majority of AI4 vehicles on 2025.38.X or earlier (in supposed regions) should be eligible for these future builds.

Only a few more months of this yapping from people as ignorant as Zach. Then the cars in Austin will be without a safety monitor. That will spread to other cities too. Make sure to save all of these posts. 2026 is going to a really exciting year for Tesla.
Besides the fact that a normal subway could move more people more efficiently..... each one of these cars has a driver inside - driving in a straight line with no traffic. Elon promised this closed loop would have automated self driving cars back in 2019. (Six years ago!) FSD

Also want to be clear I’m not talking about the Original MK1 and MK2 variants. I’m thinking more of a fast tracked lander similar to the Apollo missions.

New Glenn is an amazing rocket and I wish them complete success including a landing on Jacklyn today! However New Glenn is not comparable to Starship in anyway. We all know this. In fact New Glenn only really beats Falcon Heavy in reusability in terms of tonnage to LEO and
-> New Glenn gets to orbit before Starship -> Already launching a mission towards mars Interesting times

No one wants a tiny lander on the Moon just to say we beat the Chinese again. Ohh congrats… now build a base with your tiny lunar lander. Sure you can get a cargo variant but how much will that hold? How long will that take to make?
Blue Origin CEO speaks on accelerating Artemis: “If NASA wants to go quicker, we would move heaven and Earth, pun intended, to try to get to the Moon sooner. And I think we have some good ideas.” https://t.co/GDQ75LeVDO

First off I love this rental program from Tesla. Free supercharging and FSD for $60 a day! I wonder if it would be a good idea for @Tesla to ever have a rental program for robotaxis? Rent your own @robotaxi and have your personal chauffeur take you wherever you need to go.
NEWS: Tesla has introduced a new car rental program at select U.S. stores. You can rent a Tesla for up to 7 days starting at $60/day. It includes FSD (Supervised) and free Supercharging for the entire rental. If you order a new Tesla within 7 days of your rental, you’ll get a

Elon Musk talking about the “single biggest technical challenge of Tesla self-driving AI” He explains this “is context compression of 1.5GB/s of video to ~2kB/s of control outputs using a puny inference computer without making any mistakes. I’m sure this plays a part in
@JeffDean Not sure if it’s super new, as we’ve been doing something along these lines at Tesla for a while, but it does make sense. The single biggest technical challenge of Tesla self-driving AI is context compression of 1.5GB/s of video to ~2kB/s of control outputs using a puny
