3/3 Keep your eyes on these 2. If you are seasoned, encourage them. If you are new, be inspired by them. The days of keeping your head down & assimilating to instructional norms that conflict w the evidence in order to not rock the boat need to be over. Our kids deserve better.

ARKANSAS LEADS THE WAY in stating outright that any program based in 3 Cueing will be disqualified from K-2 curriculum approval. More states to follow?

Expert demonstrating that it's OK (better than OK!) 4 a seasoned teacher to be constantly thinking/reconsidering, even changing one's mind about how we understand & teach specific details. This clear “disqualifier” is on page 4 of Arkansas Curriculum Approval Process. Arkansas is taking bold steps to ensure that the practice of 3-Cueing is ended in their state. Tennessee should follow suit. How does YOUR school teach reading? #HOWmatters
