There are some Facebook and Reddit mods that are very invested in this, having spent a few years telling people they were putting their filters in the "wrong" place, they now delete any links or comments showing otherwise. As we all know, clean-air online communities are not.

More on air purifier placement from our friends at @SmartAirFilters . TLDR; CADR and noise volume over room position, don't put it too close to a wall. It doesn't make much of a difference where you put it otherwise, and people tripping over it in the middle of the room or having.

*To be clear, Rebirth Garments did not know and had no way of knowing- they just made a case. They seem like good people. Far-UV Technologies absolutely knew and deliberately targeted an incredibly vulnerable community so desperate for solutions that they did not ask questions.

Tabletop or worn, the Krypton MVP Pro (advertised 24mW, actually 8.8mW) does absolutely Nothing. There is no mathematical evidence to suggest any meaningful effect at any distance or orientation. No "Swiss cheese" layer, no utility, just a false sense of security. Disagree?.

@covidbagofdicks @NukitToBeSure Completely reasonable to be upset about people with more privilege than you getting away with charging like triple the prices for products with just a fraction of the efficacy, while you get tons of hate over highly effective products sold on razor-thin profit margins.
