All i am certain on in energy right now is nymex prices likely move alot higher in the next year to stimulate more upstream activity required for LNG commitments. Watching oil greatly on sidelines ATM. If we selloff Ill probably readd in size at some point.

Just a reminder that: . OPEC+ is boosting oil production non-stop.US output set fresh all-time highs in 2025.The White House wants lower oil prices.The Saudis, tactically, agree with the White House. We all know how this ends. Even those who are bullish know it | #OOTT.

Wrote about $HR.UN as an investment idea back December 2024. One of the best performers YTD along with other NCP ideas in the space. Legacy REIT bros still licking wounds from 0 interest era. Some are trying to short. BNN managers won't generally touch it. Lots of running room.
Did you buy $HR.UN with the team at NCP or did yoy listen to the flakers who were dooming out on #REITs. Up 14% today on speculation news. Could easily be up another 50% if they sell it all.

H&R considering strategic alternatives. Seems to be a theme in Canadian REITs as they continue to trade at massive discounts to NAV. $HR.UN $AX.UN $MRT.UN $ERE.UN $DRR.UN @alphafortuna10 @tsxman @NuggetCapital .

Correctly called the $PKI.TO verse $ATD.TO which worked out well. Parkland now dumped and started a small position in ATD. If things go south, I'll blame @zethuscap who is a C-Store guru and he likes the stock.
@ErnestWongBWM $PKI.TO is a mess with a catalyst. There is a bid for the entire company out there superior to the shareprice. Meanwhile at $ATD.TO the [oversized, overvalued] bid that's happening is significantly above where 7/11 was trading at to mask faltering growth in North America.

$RCI.B up ~19% since NCP wrote about it on my blog and it has been indeed a top performer as predicted. A lot more upside to come. Also added $BCE.TO as I indicated and expect it to recover some in the next 6-8 months. $T.TO not on my list as it trades premium due to dividend.

Like I said recently, if applied the same inputs to UST as I did with oil stocks the long bond trade would be a screaming buy. I ate my own cooking and bought a 20-year bond fund last week, have been trading in-out but US admin wants yields down badly & everybody max bearish. 🐻.

Buy low and sell high. I'm not really overly enticed by the E&P trade in general at the moment but I sure as hell am not going to wait until oil prices are high to buy oil stocks, that's when you are supposed to take profits. Buy when commodity outlook dire, sell when en vogue.

Did you add $RCI.B with the NCP last month or did you fade our camp's call while listening to all the legacy teleco bagholders who said there is no more hope left in the space because they have lost pricing power and Canadian population is apparently shrinking. lol.
