Splendid lecterns in St Albans Cathedral. One has a regal podium (left, photo in next tweet) while the other is enjoying an explosion of pampas grass plumes! A cathedral mouse could easily hide in their ample cover of fluffiness.

@TheHistoryMouse I think a rapprochement is due! Could eagles and mice one day extend a claw & paw to each other? Look at this feathered friend reaching for heaven in Exeter Cathedral! Completely harmless. @NotPodium
