The STS guy + TTTE🌟Prop collector, archivist, modeller, 1/2 of the Time To Shine podcast🚂He/him🏳️🌈| Nothing is impossible, unless you stop believing in it.
For those interested in how I made my Mr. C replica suit, I had a basic conductor suit customized🔗🚂 The hat is a CPR hat made by William Scully customized. Debbie is the talented dressmaker who did all the work. Please see her contact info in pic💖✨
I’m thrilled to finally share that this summer, thanks to the encouragement of my friends, I found & acquired the original Mr. Conductor hat prop worn by both
@ringostarrmusic
and George Carlin on “Shining Time Station”. It has been screen matched & verified by cast & crew🙏💖✨
Hey gang! Super excited to be able to officially reveal my opening bridge diorama as part of this massive layout, the brainchild of
@wrreviews
. Thanks to him,
@FlyingPringle
&
@ericpierre53
for this wild and crazy adventure… we did it!!🚂❤️🚂
I’m thrilled to be able to reveal the original jukebox prop from Shining Time Station. This beauty, the shell of a 1937 Wurlitzer, sat beneath studio lights for all 70 eps from 1988-1995. The summer project of my dreams, I am honoured to preserve this piece of prop history💖
I'll always remember that time I e-mailed Shepperton Studios in the late 90s pretending to be a magazine writer so I could get BTS info about Thomas. When they actually wrote back, I had to fess up & say it was for a school paper (also a lie). They said they'd mail me something🧵

It’s so heartwarming to see everyone’s excitement over these! Context: I found them in 2 boxes of the complete STS scripts (soon to be digitized). They were included as part of the Americanization of Thomas for STS. These were sent to me by a former crew member for digitization🧵
Hey gang! Super excited to be a part of the Great British Train Show in Brampton this year🤩 My S1 bridge diorama (below) will be part of a massive G1 layout featuring the work of

among others! Come on down.. it’s going to be a blast😉🚂✨
Super honoured that our G1 Elsbridge layout was featured in this month's "Gauge One Model Railway Association" newsletter. What a blast! Special thanks to Rod Clarke for putting it together. We did it 🥳

Hi folks! I need your help. I'm trying to track down where this "Shining Time Station" sign is located. It was supposedly in a restaurant somewhere in the States. Please share and retweet! Thank youuuu🙏🙏🙏✨
What's the boy on the bridge so excited about? CoolProps Thomas?😅
Sadly no. It's the premiere of the "Train of Thought" podcast with the STS gang tonight! Join and watch along with me at 8:30pm EST💖 Spread the word!
PS. Yes, that's my diorama!✨

Hi friends! The moment you've been waiting for has finally arrived: I have officially digitized all the TTTE scripts in my possession plus the episode summaries for STS S1. The STS ones are on their way (this does take a while!) Please help yourself and enjoy!💖 Link below😊

I just noticed that these trucks from this shot in "Percy's Predicament" are in the same position as the crew shot. Long live the simple grittiness of S2💖
From Rick:
“Please tell anyone who asks that I loved meeting them and how much I appreciate their passion for Thomas and STS. Let's do it again next year!”
It was an honor and a privilege to meet someone instrumental for Thomas and Shining Time, Rick Siggelkow. This man is literally responsible for George Carlin being Mr. Conductor and bringing Thomas to the United States. Thank you for your time and coming to the Edison show.
An excitingly random find today!! I came across the DVD of The Official BBC Children in Need Medley by Peter Kay's Animated All Star Band (including Ringo as Thomas!) at a street sale. I ripped it to MKV so y'all could watch and/or download in HQ. Drive link below!!🤩🚂✨
4 separate biopic films are in the works about each member of The Beatles to all release in theaters in 2027.
Sam Mendes will direct each film which will be interconnected stories, one from each band member’s POV.

Happy New Year, all! I’m very excited to reveal my first 2 scratch builds: G1 7-planks from copies of Tenmille’s kits - with removable coal & limestone loads (both real!) It’s been such a learning process. Big thanks to
@ThomasModeller
for the kits & to everyone for the support💖
What an exciting time to be a Thomas fan! I feel like we have more access to behind-the-scenes info than ever before. And such amazing creativity. Grateful for the fandom 🙏❤️
I’m really excited to reveal my latest Gauge 1 rolling stock projects: 2 S1 style tankers, MILK and classic black. Thanks Covey for the kits and Louis for the other bits✨
So glad that lettering is done 😅
My head is still spinning after this weekend. I’ve never been so tired & happy to do something like this😅💖 Thanks to everyone involved especially
@wrreviews
@FlyingPringle
&
@ericpierre53
for their hard work. We did it!🥳 Everyone’s heartfelt reactions made it so worth it🙏✨
2,000,000 hours later. My entire TWR collection jigsawed into this beautiful boy💖😅
Special thanks to
@wrreviews
for the help bringing this absolute unit home🙏
I forgot to say a huge thank you for 1800 followers.. I feel really lucky to be able to realize some of my dreams on here! Thanks for coming along for the ride🙏🚂✨
I’m really proud & excited to reveal my first piece of Gauge 1 rolling stock: a S1-style brake van (aka Brakey) freshly painted & weathered. It’s thrilling to hold something so close to the original show props (I included my monster hand for scale). Heartfelt thankyous below 💖🚂
A nice HQ pic of an interpretation of the STS opening painting🌈
Is it me or did Shining Time's population triple?😅
This is from the STS Activities Guide by Outreach Extensions, each one paired with an STS ep and distributed in schools✨

I’m thrilled to finally reveal my prop replica of the iconic STS schedule board. It’s been about 6 months of chipping away but couldn’t be more happy with the result. In the coming days I’ll post a complete thread with photos & thank yous🙏🚂💖
Happy 35th Anniversary to a show that has not only changed my life, but the lives of fans around the world. Thank you, Shining Time Station! You brought Thomas to America and magic into our living rooms🙏💖🌟
“A goods train, a goods train..”🚂
My first piece of genuine Tenmille, here’s my take on the S1 LMS van - a fave of mine. Took some time to get the weathering right but really happy. Big thanks to
@account_thomas
for the piece, which was already built and just needed some TLC💖
As previously promised, here is the story of finding the Mr. C hat, a🧵:
Back in the summer of 2022, an enthusiastic & slightly deranged Adrian began scouring the GTA for any remnants of STS wardrobe, given the show wrapped in Toronto. I called, emailed, and visited many prop..

Hi friends! I know I haven't posted any updates in a while but the STS display for Edison in November is really coming together🤩 Even more props have been found if you can believe it - and you really won't want to miss this one! There may even be some special appearances..💖✨
One more Thomas tidbit from STS Season 1. They also created this document for all the TTTE stories included in each episode of STS S1 with ep outlines, themes, & suggestions for the STS episodes - a highlight being a suggestion that
@HulkHogan
guest star in E1 to contrast Mr. C😂
It’s so heartwarming to see everyone’s excitement over these! Context: I found them in 2 boxes of the complete STS scripts (soon to be digitized). They were included as part of the Americanization of Thomas for STS. These were sent to me by a former crew member for digitization🧵
For those curious, here’s how I’ve preserved the Thomas ep scripts🤓They’re in archival sheet protectors with all the rusty staples removed, and ordered chronologically by season. I’m particularly happy how the spine labels turned out. To be enjoyed for many years to come!🚂💖✨
Reunited, and it feels so good🧍♂️🚲
I’m really happy with this little dude (thanks for your mad skills
@FlyingPringle
!) I have a feeling that he’s really excited for
@CoolProps_PR
Thomas’ arrival later in the year... 🚂
STS's 33rd anniversary celebrations just keep getting better...✨
My friend Jim just found these high res photos of the STS set taken in 1988, posted to set designer Wayne White's website.
It also confirms that the lovely mural was acrylic on canvas🎨💖
Link below. Enjoy!😍
I love a show that takes its time. Here, we see Gordon backing into a siding for about 12 seconds without narration - just puffing. This is part of what makes the early series so appealing to me. It makes the world feel real.
In this shot, they even included rust running down from each rail down into the turntable well. The detail they put into these sets was incredible, especially given their time frame and budget. It made the show real.
Hi friends💖 I’d like to ask for your prayers for my grandma. She’s approaching her 95th birthday & not doing very well, so I’m hoping I can see her when I go home soon. She taped all of my STS eps for me and fostered a special love. Just got this frame and wanted to honour her🙏
In terms of Thomas scripts, I have the original UK scripts for S1 and 2 (all 52 eps) as well as 6 UK first drafts of the S3 episodes below. Along with the scripts for S1-3 of STS, I will be making PDF scans of all that will be publicly available. I’ll be tackling this project…
“Hello? Shining Time Station, Stacy Jones speaking!”
One more surprise for y’all. I also bought this restored Western Electric candlestick phone from the same guy who restored the jukebox. While this isn’t the actual prop, it’s an almost identical version to the one used in STS.
STS & TTTE fans:
Have you ever wondered about Didi's audition for Stacy? Or how tight security was with a Beatle on set?
Join me this Friday for the very first ep of my podcast "Train of Thought" where I sit down with the cast & crew of STS for a reunion 33 years in the making.
I must have eagerly checked my mailbox for what seemed like 2 years after that. Nothing ever came😢 I was around 10/11 at the time ('97/'98). If they had actually sent something, I imagine it might have been this BTS pamphlet.
What's the moral of the story? DON'T TELL LIES🤣🤭
Well folks, it's official.. the Shining Time Station Prop Exhibit is coming to a train show near you! Including a special message from by the one & only Schemer (Brian himself!) A huge thank you to my friend & collaborator
@sirduke95
for the beautiful poster. Please share!🙏🚂✨

"Where's Thomas?"
The Gauge 1 adventure continues... just received and painted up this little 1/35 fuel barrel for Hatty to sit on à la S1. Thanks
@TomsProps
for his advice. It will look better when Thomas is puffing up...
Hi friends! Some more cool photos to share thanks to my friend Chris
@STEAMthruLife
. These are from the STS Live event in Pittsburgh way back in 1992. Always great see more photos of that big Thomas. Also love that STS sign on stage😍 Bonus points for ‘90s mall vibes~ enjoy!!🚂✨
I have something very special to share. My grandpa who recently passed away was an incredible woodworker. Here is a scratch-built 1863 Thatcher Perkins locomotive he made that I recently inherited. What a beauty and a nice way to remember my grandpa and his passion ❤️✨🚂
And thank you all so much for 1400 followers!💖 I've got something legendary in the works that I literally can't wait to share with you all (aside from diorama).. but if there's anything that this time (and CoolProps) has taught me, it's patience. Thank you all, stay tuned 🙏😍✨
Hey gang! Really excited to reveal a wee little fun project I’ve been working on. This is a replica of one of the large scale lanterns used on the show, based on
@TomsProps
actual prop (last photo).
Yes, it’s a souped up pencil sharpener. It’s not operational but it fills my ❤️
Link:
Please note: these are scans of original crew scripts but they are copies of copies so they are imperfect. The text on some of the S1 scripts was slightly cut off on the right margin & you'll see that some of the pages are slanted. They came that way
Here’s a fun one. I was recently lucky enough to find this complete set of 1-50 Thomas Buzz Books - with a custom Thomas shelf! Isn’t it just🥹 Bless my friend that picked it up for me. I just picture some parent lovingly making it for their Thomas-obsessed kiddo…💖
So we all know they mostly built the sets one at a time & shot all the required scenes for each series episodes. I wonder, because of the careful storyboarding required, if they ever forgot to shoot certain required scenes & had to reconstruct sets as a result (esp. earlier on)🤔
…over the next several weeks so please be patient. I’m thrilled to be able to share all these with you, especially the Thomas scripts as they were a completely unexpected surprise. I’m still giddy!😁✨ Thanks for the support all!🙏🚂
Some great finds at the local toy store today - including the Eyewitness book I used to get out of the library when I was a kid!🤓🚂😍 Plus my first 🐊 (an adorable character) and a chunky book I remember reading as a wee one☺️✨
