The continuation of state budget safeguards will help provide stability and strong management of our state's finances for years to come. Thanks to these measures we've been able to pay down CT's pension debt and make more resources available to invest in our towns.
I just signed a bill into law that does two big things: ➡️Extends the free school meals program for the remainder of this school year ➡️Continues protecting for several more years the fiscal guardrails that have provided predictability and stability to the state budget process
