I never used to drink coffee, but started in the last 6 months, mostly due to @timspector saying how good caffeine is for you. I never really understood why people raved about it so much, but that buzz you get about 5 minutes after drinking it is quite nice, isn't it.

What’s with the sudden rise of ‘become a pro at this in one week’? It makes me a bit sad that individuals prey on people’s desperation to be successful in an industry and rinse them by making them think this is actually possible. Any skill takes years to hone and fine tune.

Music for TV/Film etc is kind of like a duck swimming. Everything is calm above the surface, but lots happening below. 3/4, 4/4, 5/8, 3/4, 4/4, 7/8, 4/4 tempo change, tempo change, tempo change.
