VERTERNS!!! OMG take away all checks and balances! Give them anything and everything! Along with the bureaucrats that administer! How dare anyone question! It's only their money being taken by force to fund this what business do they have!
@NoLieWithBTC
Listen to what he’s saying. Statistics don’t lie and you can’t try and stick hypertension as a side effect of serving and getting a payout. Asthma the same thing. He’s not wrong.
@NoLieWithBTC
Apparently, you will do and say, whatever it takes to deny veterans medical assistance of any kind for life-challenging and life diminishing ailments contracted because of their (often non-voluntary) service. (You were not drafted)
@NoLieWithBTC
No, he said why should they pay for a condition that affects Vets if they won't pay for a chronic illness that affects one third of Americans
@NoLieWithBTC
Rand Paul’s actions are shameful. My name is Charles Booker, I am a lifelong Kentuckian, proud husband, father, and the person who is going to retire Rand Paul this November. Please help me win this race by chipping in today:

Wow!!!.. this is completely disrespectful to Veterans!. Why do the Republicans say they support Vets, but then vote against bills that would support them ?. (asking as a Scot 🏴 )

@NoLieWithBTC
Keep in mind that 18 million Americans have served in the armed services! That’s a lot of people to all of a sudden agree to pay all further medical expenses for!
@NoLieWithBTC
JFC. At the risk of stating the obvious: we should cover the cost of Vietnam veterans’ hypertension treatment. And we should cover the cost of War on Terror veterans’ asthma treatment. 🤦🏻♂️
@NoLieWithBTC
No he didn't. He took issue with presumption of service connection for common ailments, which would relieve vets of ANY proof obligation. For common ailments, they should have to show service connection. You can disagree with him, but at least be honest about what he said.
@NoLieWithBTC
Honestly, I don't care if Veterans got their illnesses in service or not...they deserve the gold standard of care, for everything. You put your life on the line for us, we should at least make sure yours is taken care of.
