I beat Tears of the Kingdom. This may be controversial, but I think this is the greatest ending to a Zelda game to ever exist, and competes with some other games outside of Zelda for one of the greatest endings in gaming history.

For those curious - back in 2017 Breath of the Wild broke the record for most perfect scores on metacritic at 43. Elden Ring came in and set a new high at 75 across all platforms. Tears of the Kingdom, the new King, has 80 such reviews.

Wrong. BoTW was built on a heavily modified version of the Havok engine. Tears of the Kingdom was built on Nintendo’s in house engine Lunchpak, which was built specifically for Switch.
Splatoon 3 and Switch Sports are two other games that use it. Beyond that…
