Here's my review of the Switch 2 update for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It looks so much better now and the extra levels are fun, if nothing revolutionary.

Great news. Cold Fear has Nightdive written all over it, if they give that The Thing treatment that'll be brilliant.
Atari has acquired the IP rights to five previously released Ubisoft games including Child of Eden, Cold Fear and Grow Home. The publisher plans to re-release them on modern platforms then "explore ways to expand and evolve" them.

Simon the Sorcerer was one of my favourite Amiga games, so I'm excited to see how this prequel will do, especially with Chris Barrie returning.

Here's my next Gamescom preview. I went hands-on with Kirby Air Riders and had fun with it, but time will tell just how much lasting power City Trial mode has.

It's very early to speculate but I really hope this journey ends in another Dead or Alive game. Putting aside all the 'jiggle physics' pish, it was always one of my favourite fighting series because the combat and reversal system were so approachable, making you feel cool as hell.
The former director of Dead or Alive 6 says he's leaving Bandai Namco at the end of this month, having joined the studio to work on Tekken 8.

Gamescom veterans - remind me, do the cloakrooms let you leave luggage with them (I'm talking a wee carry-on case)?. Trying to figure out whether I need to leave it at the hotel on the Friday, would rather not have to go back to get it before heading home.
