we are still so early, maybe the way we prompt these models will change over time, the hope is we become more productive and precise with what we define and input as prompts and the super advanced models will be able to give us exactly what we want in zero/one shot attempts.

but there definitely exists something on the spectrum between. 1) rolling the dice on pure vibes vs .2) having structured logic in the form of code written by hand. maybe a tool like this could assist developers in bootstrapping apps or designers in creating design languages.

there should be ways to attach very specific prompt details and context to get exactly what you want in terms of a desired output. maybe this is an ADHD top-down minded attempt of managing something so open ended.

There is Cursor for code, but not for organising your thoughts/prompts, maybe using Cursor with MCP servers attached to your Obsidian or gdrive could be the solution to helping you build your prompts better, you would need to structure your it like a codebase and apply rules.

think Jupyter for data science or Postman for APIs or Figma for designers or Notion/Obsidian for notes. there are AI tools and integrations within note-taking apps like Notion but they aren’t integrated with your Claude/OpenAI prompts and their outputs.

I see a lot of cool prompts everywhere on X, but I haven’t found something great at curating different kinds of prompts. if humans are going to increasingly interact with AI via prompting, there is an opportunity to create something structured for people to build their prompts.
