Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and if you had any mistakes, I hope you were able to make them at least fun. We are cooking the actual turkey Sunday 🤪 8/8

So we spent the day cooking, delayed by trips walking to DG back and forth and stuffed ourselves silly at 11pm Not 7pm like planned. Which was fine. We had a great time and made jokes the whole way through. Total stress-free and fun. 7/8

Green stuff is Pistachio pudding mix, cool whip, and Lord knows what else she puts in it. I refuse to eat it. She makes it for her and one of our sons. More cranberry sauce for me. 6/8

So off I went to my 2nd trip to DG ( God bless them for being open) and bought chicken breasts. We cooked those, and had our stuffing, mashed potatoes, my can-shaped cranberry sauce, corn, green beans, some thing called "Green Stuff" 5/8

So I go to pull the turkey out of the fridge that has been thawing for 5 days... And half the turkey is frozen solid. I had placed one side up against the back of the fridge, which was an icewall. We had to decide to cut off the one side or just work without . 4/8

You have to understand, I don't know how to cook. Never had to, never learned, and survived on PB&J as a bachelor. She loves cooking and it never bothered her that I didn't help. Her recent heart attack has changed that, and I am learning... Slowly. 3/8

First, we ran out of Garlic Powder. GP is a requirement in all her cooking, so this needed an immediate fix. I walked up to DG and grabbed some GP, as well as a small list of things she thought of in addition. 2/8

Thanksgiving was a Comedy of Errors this year. It was also a lot of fun, stress-free and my wife and I got to hang out in the kitchen all day. 1/8

The first day at the bakery made us enough to cover an entire months rent! We are already have more PREORDERS for tomorrow than the TOTAL sales we had today! What a massive burden of second guessing and doubting myself lifted off my shoulders!!!

The antler buttons and lapel pin.... So amazing. I love the stitching around the pockets. You got the pants hemmed, but did you need to do any adjustments to the jacket?
This suit is at least 60 years old It was made by an Austrian tailor in St. Pölten, perhaps as early as the pre-war period It’s packed with history, and every detail tells a story Here’s a short list of what I love about it, and what makes it so unique👇

It is really hard for me to let go of a book. I will keep them on an ever expanding book shelf collection, knowing I will likely never read them again. But I love them. Even the stories I didn't like, I love them. I just can't get into digital books.
