Notice how it has gone up since labour came to power wonder why
@EdwardJDavey There were 262 releases in error last year. This is a catastrophic systemic problem. https://t.co/RftnODjdg0

Astounding. A headteacher was accused of ‘racially profiling’ Axel Rudakubana as a ‘black boy with a knife.’ That shut down her ability to raise the risk he posed. We need our institutions to be able to speak freely about difficult issues. This shows the risk of imposing an

We pay parents child benefit that should be used to support them at some point parents have to take responsibility
Those arguing against free breakfast clubs are arguing against the best interests of children. Even if you want to blame the parents for struggling to make ends meet, don’t advocate for punishing their children.

So much for Labour’s promise to be ruthless in the pursuit of growth. Mad Ed Miliband’s tender process for the UK’s planned new fleet of nuclear reactors has descended into farce with bidders required to show a ‘higher-than-usual’ commitment to ‘social value’. Companies were

The British people only have power every 5 years at a general election or 4 year for council elections but if candidates and parties lie about their intensions then we are at the mercy of the party in power and they can destroy the country as is happening now
Well, surprise surprise. Reform want control of the police and the Bank of England. They don’t like independence — they fear it, and it’s a step in a dangerous direction. Only Labour’s putting power back where it belongs: with the British people. 🌹

It’s cheaper electricity and gas we want not tinkering at the edges where’s are £300 you promised looks like its blowing in the wind
For too long the energy market has let consumers down. These reforms will mean families and businesses are given greater protections when things go wrong. All part of our plan to fix the broken energy market and put consumers first.

What a colossal disappointment this woman has turned out to be. She cast herself as the saviour of the weak and oppressed - and yet when she actually had a chance to help, she turned her back. It’s a metaphor for this whole rotten, stinking mess of a government.
Jess Phillips has lost the confidence of the grooming gang survivors. She’s lashed out at them, calling them liars in the chamber of the House of Commons. If Keir Starmer had any backbone at all, he’d sack her.

How am I out of pocket when I feed my kids? Isn't feeding my children the basic purpose of a parent? Sure, some need help, but for most of us, feeding our kids is our responsibility.
Parents shouldn’t be out of pocket by setting their children up for school. That’s why we are rolling out free breakfast clubs and from next September, schools will be required to limit branded items of uniform. Saving families £500 and giving kids the best start in life.

And would you pay fees to the EU so you could trade with them in a customs union we have a free trade agreement no need to throw money them
Brexit has created an extraordinary 2 billion extra pieces of paperwork for firms. Local businesses in my constituency of Esher and Walton are being hit hard by the botched Brexit deal which has created a huge amount of red tape. @LibDems would negotiate a bespoke UK-EU

Remove them from campus. If you’re this offensively ignorant, you don’t deserve a place at university
🚨Masked pro-Palestine students disrupted Michael Ben Gad’s lessons today, screaming ‘free free Palestine’ at him as he attempted to teach his economics class. Their campaign of harassment started because Michael is an Israeli who did his mandatory military service decades ago.

It’s frustrating having to rummage around in a drawer, looking for an old electricity bill just to open a new bank account. Digital ID will make our lives easier.

He arrived. He will be sent back. Probably £1.5k poorer for his efforts. Biometrics mean we can track and remove anyone who tries to return; so if it happens you’ll be caught quickly, and never allowed to apply for asylum. Thanks for highlighting.
