Achiral boramidines were first reported by @andrei_yudin and coworkers in 2020. In this study, we report detailed photophysical studies and quantum chemical calculations that reveal the effect of torsion angles in axial compounds on the Spin-orbit coupling and the rate of ISC.

This is really an interesting study that should be taken into consideration, and an important stepping stone to switch from water-based to water-free condenser both for environmental and accidental risks.
