Interesting narrative of a scam. Anyhow, inform vulnerable people in your life, and yourself, that the government will almost never do anything consequential by telephone.

Will someone explain to me how a *currency* that you can't buy any legitimate goods and services with has any inherent value whatsoever. When you buy cryptocurrency, you're providing liquidity and greater profits to money launderers, sex traffickers and arms dealers.
