Why do Liverpool fans protest the national anthem?
I made a TikTok.
Obviously the reasons are a lot more complex though for a 1 minute video.
Video posted here but please click on the link too :)
I had to turn comments off for obvious reasons.
I’m absolutely broken. My Mum only has hours left to live but is peaceful and has been made comfortable.
I’ve been with her all day but have had to come home to manage my own pain levels. My Dad is with her and has not left her side since his teens.

Football had a chance to come together after the VAR fiasco that happened with the Spurs vs Liverpool game.
Instead, fans laughed at Liverpool and other managers said “move on”. This Newcastle goal is nowhere near as bad either but they’ve soon changed their tune, what happened
"I feel sick. That's how I feel. I feel sick to be part of this."
An ANGRY Mikel Arteta shares his thoughts on the controversial Newcastle goal that meant Arsenal suffered their first Premier League defeat of the season. 😳
How much of a scumbag do you have to be to pay for a name on your shirt like that?
Why was he allowed entry into Wembley (if that’s where he is)?
It’s their most important game for many years and he’s obsessed with LFC.
So much hatred, all because of a dislike of a football
We are already seeing a lot of abuse / mocking of some of these players because they “only won 1 league title”.
This squad gave us our best run in our history and played some amazing football. I’m glad I enjoyed every moment of it.
The cycle has come to an end and a rebuild is
I suppose there will be some boiled piss around the country this time tomorrow.
Fans come to Anfield and chant:
“Sign on, you’ll never get a job”
And classics such as:
“Feed the Scousers, let them know it’s Christmas time”
And
“You nicked my stereo”
Liverpool fans
One year ago, some Arsenal fans were laughing at Liverpool for going on an insane winning run to even be near Manchester City in the last 15 mins of the season.
Now they’re saying nobody can compete with City 🤦♂️
Mo Salah, the diver. He dives every game in front of me, just like this one.
It’s sometimes even given as a foul against him, Forest got a throw in here, instead of a Yellow Card 🤦♂️
Thank you for all the replies and the messages. I’m overwhelmed by the support, I’ll reply to them when I get chance.
My Mum passed away this morning very peacefully and surrounded by us all.
She’s left behind a devoted husband, 4 sons and 10 grandchildren. All massive

For the Diaz offside, the referee is playing advantage, why wasn’t it pulled back for a free kick once the goal wasn’t given? That one confused me. So many strange decisions again today.
@NickBuckleyMBE
Say that you’re a massive racist, without saying you’re a massive racist.
You’re trying to describe Megan but you’re describing Charles and Camilla. Who both fucked each other behind their partners’ backs and then got divorced 🤦♂️
Remember when we all showed solidarity to Ronaldo when we played United last year?
Then 20 minutes later they’re mocking Hillsborough. Absolutely vile fan base.

@jasebyjason
You think it’s a myth that these weirdos feel entitled to women? It’s far from a myth, let me assure you.
No self accountability is needed, apart from yourself, of course.
This guy tweets murderers to LFC fans but gets upset about this.
You’re all as bad as each other.
The difference is, he’s getting arrested for it because he’s doing it in public but you’re hiding behind an anonymous social media profile to do it.
I brought receipts - I personally don’t think it’s worth having opinions without stats or facts to back them up.
As I said, Salah is usually metres away from me every week, as you can see from my picture. He touches the ball more than any other attacker in Europe per fouls

Sir Jim Ratcliffe explains the size of the task ahead at Manchester United and outlines his future plans for a 'Stadium of the North' to be built 🏟️
@MahyarTousi
Your bio says free speech but you’re crying about others using theirs, whilst at an away match 😂
You do realise that most of Manchester don’t support the monarchy, right?
@MerlinUnited
Liverpool finished 3rd and got to the quarter finals of the champions league. Haven’t finished below 8th for over 60 years, why do people like you just talk trash for attention?

He was trying to stop the car jacker. Issue is, if you use that kind of force, the retaliation would be the same. Should have just let him take the truck and then claim on insurance, the other dude would have ended up in prison anyway and he’d still be alive.

@MoSalah
Tough shit. His kids were born here, he’s spent most of his adult life here. Salah is an example of how multiculturalism should be. The end.

@FA
Do you have the same energy for Moyes doing what he did last week?
You make more money from mentioning Liverpool, so of course there’s zero mention about Moyes.
I mentioned this in response to Henry Winter and get this kind of patronising response.
He’s actually one of the more balanced journalists though to be honest.
I’ve worked with websites for 20+ years and the purpose of most websites is to make money.
It’s the same with the
The premier league could do a streaming service and the issue would vanish.
1 teams matches - £10 per month.
All matches - £25 per month.
People would still go the match so there’s no worry there too. The 3pm blackout is ridiculous in 2023.
@henrywinter
@FA
Why doesn’t it? Mason himself behaved in a shit way to officials, nothing has even said about that. Nothing said about Moyes last week.
Journalists are quick to mention things that are about Liverpool though. More clicks, more money.
I have no doubt that xenophobia plays a role
@mrdanwalker
This isn’t it Dan.
He’s not just a “man in his 70’s”.
He’s sat in a golden carriage, having had 200 million spaffed on his big day, only to have a tantrum and say it’s boring.
@mcfc_lads
Yet you weirdos sing “feed the scousers” as well as other strange poverty shaming. But Liverpool have no issues filling out stadiums.
Most city fans can just admit they’re a small club with a small local fan base. The rest of you think you’re something you’re not 🤦♂️
@LFCLaurie
@jambags
The same people who leave every week on 85 mins, still left on 85 mins though to be fair. Even getting in the way when we scored.
Not enough-masse like Arsenal fans but still don’t pretend it doesn’t happen.
@cazzy570
Thanks. I’ve been fortunate in the sense that I’m 41 and not had this before. It’s still horrific but she’s been suffering for years and tonight was the most peaceful I’ve seen her for 3-4 years. Dreading telling the kids :(
I’m glad that I stopped being so into the whole transfer rumour thing.
It’s so much better for your mental health to just wait for whoever signs and then support them once they have.
@BarnesSteezy
They weren’t even incorrect though. The ball doesn’t look out of play, there’s no offside and the foul is one that’s rarely given as a penalty and is just a subjective one.
The crazy thing is, they’ve had the biggest VAR mistake in history and everyone said “people make

Moyes made a comment along the lines of “it’s a penalty at Anfield” last week. Which questions the integrity of officials, total silence from the media and everyone about it.
It wasn’t even factually correct as Liverpool went around a year without a penalty at Anfield, despite
@PassLikeThiago
I don’t get why the twitter “fans” who wouldn’t be able to locate Anfield if they were asked, are so disconnected by the actual fans. It’s crazy really.

What? The season wasn’t extended was it? Liverpool played every 3 days. Arsenal had much fewer fixtures to cram in.
I know when the funerals were, my parents attended one of them as my friend lost his brother.
Dalglish later quit Liverpool because of the toll it had taken on
@vandemlau
@mcfc_lads
How have you got this so completely wrong? We lost 5-0. Villa celebrated it as if they’d just won the champions league. Then got knocked out in the next round. They were effectively given a bye to the semi because Liverpool were successful.
@Declassifried
@rajsinghchohan
We lost to Atletico because of a keeper error, should have been 5-1.
We lost the final in paris because their keeper made the most saves in a UCL final history.
Did you even watch the matches? 😂
It’s a shame really because it would have been nice for them to do it. They’ve just fallen short over the past month. Overall, they’ve had a great season though.
The previous Arsenal sides would never have held on for a draw against us. So they do have more mental strengths
@CouchNish
This is the scene you describe.
5th March 2023.
A guy raises money on GoFundme, a site where there are tens of thousands of fundraising pages for things like wheelchairs and medical equipment.
He didn’t even go to the match to see the plane that he didn’t pay for.
