The fed government defends George Christensen’s right to free speech, but is trying to take the same right away from ALL charities in Australia. Let that sink in.
Under the government’s proposed changes “registered charities could be held responsible for summary offences – minor legal breaches – committed by their members or supporters. They could lose their charitable status.” For political advocacy!

Free speech is sacrosanct for this government.
Unless, of course, your criticize them or their policies.
Or try to hold them to account for anything.
Or blow the whistle on their malfeasance.
Or you are a journo doing your job.

And yet evangelical churches and their mindless followers provide unquestioning conservative voting blocks, whilst enjoying unchallenged tax-free status.
