This morning's satellite loop of water vapor in the mid levels of the atmosphere. That's a pretty substantial feed of moisture aimed at southern British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest. It extends roughly 3500 miles offshore...or well to the northwest of Hawaii. #wawx

Troopers in Pierce County are dealing with an overturned semi that was loaded with live chickens on NB I-5 near Mounts Road (DuPont area). With hundreds of chickens across the roadway, traffic is getting by in the left lane while the scene is being cleaned up.

UPDATE 3:20am: All NB lanes of SR 99 are now closed at Lincoln Way for this crash that happened just south of #Everett. State Patrol, aid and IRT are on scene, but there is no estimate for reopening. Seek alternate routes. @wspd2pio @lynnwood @wsdot
On SR 99 northbound just north of 148th St SW (MP 51) there is a collision blocking the right lane.
