Today I learned that I can invade a mosque, harass the people there, and only get charged with a misdemeanor violation of federal law.
People aren’t going to be happy when they learn a first time violation of the FACE act is usually only a misdemeanor. Which, if that’s the case it may explain a bit of why the DOJ is actually looking at all possible avenues for how they can upgrade the charges towards felonies.
