had to send my mother to the hospital today. She has MS that's been rapidly paralyzing her and she slid out of bed. I couldn't get her up or comfortable, and she has other health issues that have been getting worse, so she finally agreed to let me call for an ambulance. Short🧵

I lost all my hobbies due to being disabled. I lost my profession due to being disabled. I can’t really do anything fun any more because I’m disabled. It quite literally does dictate my life and my identity.
If you have a mental illness or a disability and you display that on your bio go and delete that right now. Replace it with something like a hobby or a profession or something fun you like to do. If you center your identity around your illness your psyche will do insane things to
