Marine Academy FC have been awarded the highest 3 star Accreditation from the FA after submission of our Development Plan . Congratulations to all at the club for ensuring all qualifications are upto date and to welfare officer Malcolm Coutts for co-ordinating the application.

Very sad to watch some kids playing their hearts out to win & others only playing for themselves. Team sports are TEAM sports for a reason. If you’re not there to give everything to your team, you’re there for the wrong reasons. Individual notoriety has no place in team sports!

It’s incredible the impact a new trailist has amongst academy parents & the onset of paranoia about their own child’s position within the set-up. If a career in football is to be pursued then get used to this! Ultimately if your child is good enough they with find their path.

You can fake a lot of things in life, but you can’t fake great habits. You can't fake passion & you can't fake the desire to improve. Instead of wasting time faking it, just go do what you need to do. Getting better is uncomfortable, gritty & demanding. There’s no room for fake!

A teammate who holds you accountable, keeps you focused, & tells you the complete honest truth is so much better than a teammate who watches silently as your bad habits, bad attitude/selfishness affect your game, the team, everything around you. Real teammates never sit silently!
