For fans worried about Caleb, I found this useful. Granted he’s talking about the first four games but I think the principle translates. We need more time before even being concerned. The kid can ball.
@NFLFrascella I've watched 0 snaps of Dillon Gabriel as a QB in the NFL. But, I own an analytics consultancy, so my entire world is numbers, odds, etc. I know that very few starting caliber QBs look like starting caliber QBs in their first 4 starts. It's just math. Take all of the QBs of

There are plenty of examples of QBs needing to reach year 3 before clicking. Favre Josh Allen Drew Brees Carson Palmer Joe Montana Baker Mayfield #Bears

Caleb Williams nears point under Ben Johnson where Jared Goff soared. Could it happen again? https://t.co/qNHVdYmzLL

Mistakes happen. Even by unpires. But Major League Baseball posting a video of such a horrendous, potentially game changing mistake by the umpire that confused players on both teams, and celebrating it as a “pickoff for Glasnow!” is some crazy, gaslighty BS.

This was a brutal call. This was a late call. Everything about this is the umpire’s fault. Terrible this happened in the World Series.

Sadly, some GMs think they can’t have a strong leg AND mid-range accuracy & run w/ guys like Cairo, who have a lot of accuracy but a relatively weak leg. Moody is less accurate than Cairo with a bigger leg. I’d find a third option personally but between them, give me Moody. 2/2

For non players, 58 yards is a very, very long field goal. Almost impossibly long. That said, it has become more common with the evolution of the sport and kickers to see it attempted and made. At the very least, every NFL kicker ought to be able to make it from there. 1/2

I love Cairo, but when a 58-yarder is easily short in today's NFL, that's a problem.

This is a fair criticism. I like how Daniels is calm under pressure and exudes confidence, whatever the score. Coach already told Caleb he needs to carry himself better but I hope he’ll focus on mental toughness and discipline too. Hope remains.
Let me clarify this: I don't think Caleb is a hopeless situation like Mitch and Fields were. I can live with physical mistakes. But Caleb was lost mentally yesterday. Mental regression is alarming. He's nowhere close to resembling a 1.1 QB and the clock is ticking.

The truth is, Caleb Williams is an insanely talented, erratic QB along the lines of Favre or Mahomes. Can he “put it all together”? If so, he’ll be a hall of famer who’ll win 1-3 super bowls. If he can’t, he’ll flame out eventually. I, for one, am rooting for QB1! 🐻⬇️

2024 had so many top flight Aqaba- it’ll be interesting to watch Maye, Daniels, Nix and Caleb over the years.

Inside of 2 minutes the refs should have called for a review of the QB sneak, which was a TD.

Excellent in-game defensive coaching by BAL while tired old Odunze crossing route by Ben led to that interception.

Cairo Santos 5 yards short on a 57 yard FG attempt in optimum weather conditions. He doesn't have an NFL-caliber leg. End of story.

Having our top 3 corners out has crippled our offense I guess 🤷🏻♂️

This entire drive went off the rails when Caleb slid down in bounds rather hang a right and run out of bounds.
