👇 this. The Swiss National Bank engineered a bailout of Credit Suisse via UBS and I suspect they are in the background backstopping this deal. The Swiss National Bank can’t be seen interfering in a foreign market and needs a conduit (commercial/investment bank).
@nosniper34 @Badmojo6969 @squeezistChrist I think the Swiss government forced them to take it on. ubs didn’t seem to want it. Someone had to deal with the positions, I figure it was the Swiss governments responsibility after credit suisse blew.
