The proudest moment of my life. First Exposure launches today. 4 years in the making. So incredibly proud of the entire team. “Ontario program to help expectant parents with advice on medication fills gap left by shuttered Motherisk lab” https://t.co/689BbDHwWd

Could reproductive factors like pregnancy and breastfeeding affect timing/ type of menopause experienced later in life? @erinbrennand’s research explores this question, holding promise for the early identification of early menopause. #IWD2023 ➡️

An individual’s experience of menopause appears to be influenced by experiences with breastfeeding (lactation) in younger years. Perhaps maximizing duration of breastfeeding is a strategy to improve menopausal health! @NatalieScime @AlisonShea12 @GROWW_Program @MenopauseOrg

In the days leading up to my defense, the world witnessed the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn #RoeVsWade. This unconscionable attack on reproductive rights left me furious, devastated, and in disbelief.

Great summary of how to respond from the amazing @MarthPaynter : Roe v. Wade: Canada can respond to U.S. bans by improving access to abortion care here https://t.co/4QHgBXBNdZ via @ConversationCA
theconversation.com
There will no doubt be escalating rhetoric from anti-choice politicians in the wake of the fall of Roe v Wade. An abortion care provider says now is the time to improve abortion access in Canada.

Many examples used in Taubes’ influential 1995 article to denigrate epidemiology now have important public health implications.
