Two doses of the MMR vaccine provide 97% protection against measles. Over 50 years of data confirm the safety of the vaccine & multiple studies show there is no link to autism. Tackling measles requires all of us. Check your records and get vaccinated. (3/3) #StopTheSpread

Measles is deadly with about 1-10 of every 10,000 cases leading to death in Canada, most often from respiratory or brain complications. Some survivors experience lasting effects like blindness, deafness, or permanent brain damage. The good news is that we can stop measles! (2/3)

Measles has resurfaced in Canada, and we need to work together to stop the spread. It’s a deadly disease and 1 person can infect up to 18 people. Canada eliminated measles in 1998 but recently lost its measles-free status with over 5000 resurged cases since fall 2024. (1/3)
