‘Student improvements, while good/important, are largely insignificant if the majority of kids are still struggling. Yet @MetroSchools celebrates 1-2% bumps in student proficiency while still turning in an overall failing grade; meanwhile, its budget continues to grow’ 👀 🔥🚨.

Lots of our best @MetroSchools teachers deserve $3k-32k bonuses! .'Districts explain how they will ID a certain % of teachers as outstanding, based on student growth (eg scores/classroom observations). The state then awards those districts extra money for each designated teacher'.

Hope @MetroSchools allows high-quality public charters like @SuccessCharters to co-locate in MNPS' unused spaces (1/2 empty Whites Creek/Pearl-Cohn/Maplewood clusters). These capacity numbers were PRE-Covid. Good for @MetroNashville families/students, facilities, & taxpayers!
