Hi @flipkartsupport, you asked us to wait till 7 PM on Saturday for the order. It’s way past 7 PM — and it’s Sunday now. We were also told there would be communication via email or call. We’ve heard absolutely nothing from you. @binnybansal this is despicable service.

We ordered a new fridge on July 13. It had to be delivered on 14th. But, since then, it has been delayed 4 times. Customer care does not resolve anything. They promise a call back with a solution, but that never happens. The service is atrocious. @flipkartsupport @binnybansal.

@Flipkart Also, the app shows a Govt-mandated grievance redressal officer’s contact. But the email leads to the same generic customer service ID. The number listed for the officer in Bangalore just lands you back with junior customer care, who has no clue it’s an escalation line.

@Flipkart In fact, one Flipkart exec admitted they’re stuck too. The system apparently gives them no tools to solve issues when a hub is unresponsive. It’s a vicious cycle: backend offers no control, execs face helpless rage, and customers are left waiting endlessly.

@Flipkart What’s worse: even senior customer care execs can only see what you already see on your app. They aren’t privy to any new or backend info. All they do is ask you to be patient and wait 24-48 hours. A placeholder response with no substance. No update. No action.

Their only mode of communication with the logistics hub? An email or the personal number of the in-charge. If that fails, they’re as clueless as the customer. Which means, if the in-charge has a dead phone or just disappears, @Flipkart has zero fallback to track your order.

To make things worse, here’s what I’ve learnt: If the in-charge at Flipkart’s satellite hub is AWOL, customer care can’t do anything. Not even check the real status of your package.

Found something bizarre with @Flipkart — for 5 days now, their own team says they can’t reach their own warehouse. Three senior escalation execs have admitted they have no means to contact a satellite hubs unless the incharge there answers their phone. Something’s seriously wrong.

For the record: This is not how the situation played out on my end. Luckily have receipts for that. I did not ā€œplotā€ to access anyone’s phone. I did not have any passwords. I was unaware of how the information was obtained. Looking forward to speaking with Apple on this.
