I grew up in Indiana, and as a teenager I would drive to Chicago to see my favorite artists live then drive back right after even on school nights. I told my mom I went with a friend but I couldn’t find anyone who liked the same music as me so I went alone every time lol.

Point 2 hit home and applies to any creative, just life in general. Been in that 6 month rut and urge to quit phase many times. Failure is inevitable but how you go about it really makes the difference.
