We are tracking the incident in Manchester, England. At this time, there is no known nexus to NYC. The NYPD already has in place enhanced coverage and high visibility patrols around synagogues today for Yom Kippur. As always, if you see something, say something 1-888-NYC-SAFE

This year our Community Affairs Officers were able to have another successful backpack giveaway at Carmensville Playground. We are incredibly grateful for @cvspharmacy @NYCPBA for making this possible. Over 600 Bookbags were donated to our youth.

On this day 24 years ago, we as the NYPD, the City of NY, and the U.S.A. changed forever. Every September 11th since then, we have paid our respects to the fallen and honored their supreme sacrifice Please always keep the family’s of the fallen in your thoughts and prayers.

September 11, 2001, marked one of our nation’s darkest days. Few responded as bravely as New York City’s first responders. That day, the @FDNY lost 343, @PANYNJ lost 37, NYPD lost 23, and many others continue to suffer from illnesses related to 9/11. We will #NeverForget.

30 Q-Team getting things done!! Great work by our 30th Precinct Quality Of Life Team for removing this abounded van from the entranceway to a Church. With the entrance free and clear, the seniors of West Harlem now have easier access to their place of worship.

There are individuals who are calling and impersonating the NYPD Crimestoppers 1-800-577-8477 number. NYPD Crimestoppers will NEVER contact you or ask for your personal information. If you receive a call from that number, ignore it.
