This paper, Co authored with @juliansavulescu and @G_Owen_Schaefer is out. Here, we argue that across a variety of public-facing contexts, we should attribute bias to an algorithm only if it is publicly justifiable that its unselective deployment in a given context would be wrong

These two papers can be considered companion papers. Both papers take a public justification requirement and then argue against certain excesses of the right and left.
