This is definitely a skill to develop, but a lot of the success rests with the receiver. You can be as diplomatic as humanly possible, and certain insecure people will still feel personally offended by disagreement.
I know someone who is extremely good at disagreeing with someone in a way that makes you feel safe and excited to discuss. It’s somehow completely clear just how wrong he thinks you are & simultaneously how welcome and respected you are. Pretty aspirational.

It is so annoying that babygirl's daycamp just decides to be closed for 2 random days this week. Cost is often at the forefront of the childcare discussion but continuity of care is a whole other ball of anxiety. Something is always falling through, or someone flaking. .
