☀️Lovely Saturday sunshine out on the doorsteps ☀️ This morning in Wideopen we were hearing from residents about local issues and supporting Karen Clark to be the next Mayor of North Tyneside.

Children’s Services in North Tyneside have been rated Oustanding in all areas by OFSTED. This result is a reflection of the hard work and dedication from all staff at North Tyneside Council.

The award for Outstanding Contribution to the North East goes to... North Tyneside Mayor Dame @Norma4Mayor DBE for her dedication to public service and tireless commitment to the North East! ✨

It was great to be joined by @Norma4Mayor, @GlindonMary, @CMcKinnellMP, @efoody, and lots of Labour Party members in Longbenton. We talked to local residents about their priorities - which will help shape my Mayoral Manifesto.

North Tyneside Council Result #LE2024: LAB: 51 (=) CON: 8 (-1) IND: 1 (+1) Labour HOLD.

A fantastic result in North Tyneside, we had 47 Labour councillors of 60 before the elections and we now have 51. North Tyneside has once again endorsed Labours leadership of this borough. A special note to Andy Holdsworth, in St Mary’s safest Tory seat now has a Labour Cllr.
