What a shame. Jeff was as sharp as any handicapper when it came to SoCal racing. Gone too soon. RIP
I’m very sorry to report that Jeff Siegel, one of the world’s greatest horse racing handicappers and one of UCLA’s biggest fans, died Saturday morning after a bout with cancer. He was 74. He’d be so excited for UCLA’s win over Penn State. Fairfax High grad. Respected by all.

I just noticed a misprint in tomorrow's Spinster morning line that is my fault. Thorpedo Anna is supposed to be 3/5 but is listed at 8/5. I made a mistake in converting the decimal when I sent into the racing office. Please make note that she should be 3/5.

The chart literally says she was clear in the final furlong. Was it a comfortable trip? No. But she got from the 11 post to the rail in a 12 horse field, got a big pace and had a clear run but didn't have the requisite punch in an effort not as good as her last.
@NTamm1215 She was boxed in the entire stretch by the four and when finally able to run it was far too late. This is textbook obvious. 11 had clear running room the whole stretch. It’s even blatantly in the charts. It was so obvious everyone else in the world saw it. lol 😂

I wouldn't blame anyone who wants to bet against Ted Noffey and uses today's performances by Tommy Jo and Time to Dream as rationale. Neither of those two today looked anything like they did at Saratoga.
