We just had Lyra’s two year health check with the wonderful Ama from ⁦@hackneycouncil⁩. We last saw her for breastfeeding support in 2017 when she went above and beyond to help us. #nosepicking #breastfeeding

"Health equity is the absence of unfair and avoidable differences in health between subgroups of a population." Very cool interactive graphic tool from @WHO helps to disaggregate data to provide an evidence base for equity-oriented policies.

“It doesn't matter who you are or what you look like, so long as somebody loves you.” - Roald Dahl. A reminder on #RoaldDahlDay that your children love you, even if you live in PJs (or hospital pants like @amyschumer) haven't showered & live on toast. You're doing great ❤️🤱

Another neglected area is painful breastfeeding. Yesterday I helped a woman w nipple vasospasm and someone with infected eczema- not rocket science but unfamiliar to most clinicians

We love this video starring @BFislington, explaining their work supporting #breastfeeding families: https://t.co/rr0EuTVy2Y Sadly we don't have the funds to run enough groups like this - but if we're not in your area, please call @NBHelpline for support & info, open every day 🤱

Hmm...A young learner considers what he has written in the chalkboard, at a primary school, #Cambodia. Attending school is critical, but so is learning in school. We need to strengthen school systems so that every child can develop skills they need for empowered futures.🌟 💪
