… And ~20k fewer on our PTL than Sep-23 when it peaked. Smaller PTL than prior year… don't know when (if!) we were last able to say that. Now off to see how this compares to everyone else!.

In contrast to national picture, UHSX total PTL reduced by >5k in Jun-24. Bucking the trend… while we still have big challenges with longest waiting cohorts, slowly and surely we are making progress.
English RTT wait list grew in June by 20k patient pathways to 7.62m. This is the closing position for the last Conservative government, and Labour's inheritance. Wait times fell by 0.3 weeks to 44.7 weeks RTT (i.e. from referral to treatment) #nhswaits
