What a emotional day. Today the team took Belstone resident Gilby Taylor to the top of Belstone Tor. Gilby suffers from MS unable to walk more than a few steps unaided. Today is a day we will all treasure, seeing the joy on Gilby & Jane as they sat together at the top.#dartmoor

Yesterday on the teams 50th birthday the team received a callout to assist @swasFT, with the extraction of a 75yr old lady. She had slipped and hit her head at Shilley Pool; 10 members stretchered her to an ambulance at the nearest road. We wish her a speedy recovery

A massive thank you to Okehampton United Charities for their grant to buy a new ceiling mounted projector for the Search & Rescue Centre. It’s in pretty much daily use now and is fantastic for briefings and training sessions. #Okehampton #dartmoor @mountrescueuk
