Is there some viral video out there I don't know about convincing people of this absolutely ridiculous claim?.

@chamberscline @_iamblakeley @krystalball @AGPamBondi The Bible is against slavery. The slavery they had in the Bible is considered what we call employment by today’s standards. Also yes there’s bad things happening all over the world and it’s not right. But those things are happening as a result of sin entering the world.

How is it that this ridiculous claim has become so common right now? Thank you very much Turek and Copan.

People who say the Bible never condemned slavery need to understand that the Bible was written at a time when slavery was synonymous with today's paid employment. If the Bible was written today, instead of slaves and masters it'll say employee and employer.

He's absolutely right. Except for the possibility of being sold, working for the rest of your life, never being able to quit, not getting paid, your wife and kids having to as well, and your grandkids, and of course the beatings.

@darwintojesus The version of slavery that existed in the Bible is not that different from being employed. The difference is that at least they were honest about it.

The world: The Bible condoned lifelong, generational chattel slavery!. Idiots: No it didn't. It was just indentured servitude and more like just having a job! . Verses from the Bible:

There is slavery condoned in the Bible. So do we not have free will? Try not starting with a conclusion and instead try looking at what the Bible says on slavery first.

There was no slavery in the Bible. If God condoned slavery then why give us free will? Some people are just stupid. .

This is the response you get from people who haven't actually done any homework on the issue when called to support their claims.

Thank you Pastor Chris. If only more people would call Frank out for what he is. A misleading/dishonest book salesman.

@maklelan @CrossExamined1 @charliekirk11 I'm actually with Dan on this one. I have never been a fan of most Christian apologists (specifically non scholars). Turek often softens the facts of several topics, is overly aggressive, and is not helping Christianity by doing so.

Someone calling out @DrFrankTurek on his horrendously misleading and incorrect spewings on Biblical slavery was long overdue. Thank you @maklelan for finally pulling Franks pants down for all to see.

And this is exactly why I have zero respect for Frank Turek. Zero. Misleading at best, and outright misinformation and carefully worded obfuscation at worst. Shame on you Frank.

Dr. Frank Turek clarifies the Bible doesn’t endorse race-based chattel slavery like in American history, but describes temporary indentured servitude—“a kind of bankruptcy law” meant to help struggling families survive. 🇺🇸Join👉 @SGTnewsNetwork.📎  Twitter  ▪️ Truth Social

I keep waiting for Grok to get better and it doesn't. I'm not holding my breath for Grok 4 frankly. When it repeatedly admits its initial response is 100% wrong on the question "Does the Bible condone chattel slavery". But keeps repeating the same mistake over and over again.

Another Christian that says slavery is ok, so long as it's the right people being enslaved.

@NBrasing @dondank69 @darwintojesus Oh, what a Saint you are, where you would show mercy to a butch homosexual pedophile Nazi and would want him to sit in a comfy and cozy luxury prison. I'd want him working cotton fields, or whatever is good for the nation that enslaves him. Mercy cannot rob justice. Then.
