“Atheists don’t hate fairies, leprechauns, or unicorns because they don’t exist. It is impossible to hate something that doesn't exist. Atheists — like the painting experts hated the painter — hate God because He does exist.”
—Ray Comfort
You can't live atheism. Nietzsche tried it; he went mad. He was one of the few consistent atheists out there. He knew the implications of atheism. Everything was meaningless; there's no right and wrong, no purpose to life.

“I’m not a Christian because it “works” for me. I had a life prior to Christianity that seemed to be working just fine, and my life as a Christian hasn’t always been easy. I’m a Christian because my high regard for the truth leaves me no alternative.”
―J. Warner Wallace
The disciples of Jesus who were in a position to know whether Jesus had risen from the dead or not, died excruciating deaths when they could have saved themselves by simply saying, "Look, it never happened."
Regardless of what you believe about the Bible, what can’t be denied is that the Bible nails the truth about human nature and our deceptive human hearts. But the Bible doesn’t just accurately state the problem; it also reveals the only possible solution.
If somebody asks you: "What do you think of same-sex marriage", you can go: "Well, it doesn't matter what I think about it. Here's what Jesus said about it. He said that marriage is between a man and a woman. So, if you want to argue with that, you can argue with Jesus, not me.
“Darwin denies God as an agent but then gives Mother Nature all the qualities of God. You will see Mother Nature “choosing”, “selecting”, “deciding”, “having wisdom”, etc… It is simply a bait and switch.”
Billy Dyer
You wouldn't have a series of documents written in the first century, mainly by Jews, pulled together and called the New Testament if Jesus hadn't risen from the dead.

"If Christianity were true, would you become a Christian?" Many people will say, "No, even if it were true, I wouldn't trust in Christ because I want to do my own thing."

“As Christians we accept one foundational truth - God - and everything else makes sense. An atheist denies God and has to accept incredible explanations for everything else. It takes more faith to deny God than to believe in Him.”
—John MacArthur
Whatever you currently believe about Jesus of Nazareth, you owe it to yourself to investigate him thoroughly. It makes little sense to ignore the one solitary life that continues to impact you in eternity if His claims are true.
I've hardly ever seen a so-called "deconstruction" (where somebody leaves Christianity, they deconstruct their faith) that does not somehow bring up sexual behavior as a reason they left Christianity.
Even atheists admit the universe began to exist out of nothing. Since there’s evidence for the greatest miracle in the Bible (Genesis 1:1), then every other miracle is at least possible.

You can draw blood and discover what the sex of the baby is long before the baby comes through the birth canal. At birth, sex is not assigned; instead, it is discovered.

"If there is no God, then the man and the universe are doomed. Like prisoners condemned to death, we await our unavoidable execution. And what is the consequence of this? It means that the life we have is without ultimate significance, value, or purpose.”
― William Lane Craig
"If Jesus rose from the dead, then you have to accept all that he said; if he didn’t rise from the dead, then why worry about any of what he said? The issue on which everything hangs is not whether or not you like his teaching but whether or not he rose from the dead”
—Tim Keller
So evil can’t exist unless good exists. But good can’t exist unless God exists. In other words, there can be no objective evil unless there is objective good, and there can be no objective good unless God exists. If evil is real—and we all know it is—then God exists.
The New Testament writers were not inclined to invent the resurrection. Why would they invent it? By creating a resurrected Jesus, they got beaten, tortured, and killed. The last time I checked, that was not a list of perks.
I’m often asked, “Do you take the Bible literally.” My answer is, “Yes, where it is meant to be taken literally. Everything in the Bible is literally true but not all of it is expressed in a literal way.

"Of course, I reject atheism because I believe Christianity to be true. But I also reject it because I am a scientist. How could I be impressed with a worldview that undermines the very rationality we need to do science?"
—John Lennox

What motive did the Jewish New Testament writers have to make up a new religion? They already thought they were God’s chosen people, and they were persecuted for saying the Resurrection occurred?
Imagine, the Creator of the universe humbling Himself by coming to serve, suffer, and die at the hands of the very creatures He created! Why would He do this? Because His infinite love compels Him to offer salvation to those made in His image.

“For me, as a Christian believer, the beauty of the scientific laws reinforces my faith in an intelligent, divine Creator. The more I understand science the more I believe in God, because of my wonder at the breadth, sophistication, and integrity of his creation.”

If there is no Hell, what's the purpose of Jesus? What are we saved from? We're not saved from anything if there is no Hell. If there's nothing to be saved from, then there's nothing to that statement that Jesus said he came as a ransom to save people from judgment.
