Sanguine is a big word—but not the right one. Saying you’re ‘not optimistic’ I’m the one delivering the message doesn’t even track, since you clearly are pissed I said it at all. Try ‘uncomfortable.’ Or even just ‘inappropriate.’ Big words are great—when you know how to use them.
