When we revised the reviewer roles and reset everyone, a bunch of people complained about having to start at lvl 0. Are these the same people who just suck at reviewing but want lvl 2 for the status? I could see someone having ambassador status caring about something this petty.

DReps all have subjective standards for reviewing a proposal and the CC has subjective standards too because an objective standard isn't defined in the constitution. Effectively, they are the same branch of governance in Cardano. It's just hard to quantity the power of each.

@benohanlon We still need people to actually commit to another serious platform, otherwise it's just the Cardano Forums 2.0. That's going to be the hardest part. Building the platform will be easy, professionalism and commitment will be the hardest part.

He's right, 12 years ago I was into Crypto because I thought one day it would be a cool currency to use at stores/restaurants/whatever. Have to return to the old values of crypto. Meme coins and NFT's generally suck. Make systems better:

To be fair, there are many people that do this within ADA. It's not all Hosky's fault but at a certain point you gotta aknowledge leadership comes from the top down and there has been a pattern of failure from those who lead the ecosystem. Not doing so is being willfully ignorant

Art 3, Sec 5 of the constitution only defines minimum requirements so as far as I am concerned, any proposal like this is constitutional as long as they meet the other requirements such as having an administrator. Maybe the constitution isn't a very useful doc and needs updating?

If this is not complete by the end of the subsequent treasury withdrawl, I will vote NO to the withdrawl. Hopefully we can consider this a good faith attempt by all entities to work together. Constitutionally, this is the most legally sufficent proposal I have seen yet. 2/2

Here we go again. Once more, DReps can only vote which is a violation of the decision making process and thus a violation of the constitution. All ADA holders have a right to participate in governance decision making. Not just DReps. Another unconstitutional election.
