It definitely is. Also feels uncomfortable since Charles had pretty clearly said that Midnight Foundation was planning to take on these same burdens on its own account as a necessary part of that rollout. Still, in the real world, Cardano is better off if these steps get done.

DRep Vote : YES on Critical Integrations Budget The overriding principle I have for the Treasury use is as a sovereign wealth fund which should grow over time and not depleted. This action puts a significant portion of that Treasury at risk by approving spending on undetailed

I didn't explain my math which was based on what would be the cost to set-up and maintain over the next 5 years.

DRep Vote Report: YES on Ikigai reimbursement. This is an unfortunate situation which happened through proper and expected use of the chain who's underlying technology was changed without the users involvement. Since Ikigai was relying on the chain to function as it should and

DRep Vote Report: NO on ADA/Cardano domains. While I can certainly see value in a top-level domain, I do not think this is what we need to spend an estimated $3.7M - or almost $10M ADA on right now. I do not believe adoption would be seriously affected by the addition or not of

When everyone is exhausted, true leaders tuck the ecosystem in before they rest....

A guy visibly exhausted after a horrid day, chooses to be up at the wee-hours to message a ecosystem with hard truths, but focusing on the vision forward, praising other's successes, and with a message of hope, unity and integrity is the best sign that Cardano is still on the

"I only wanted to test Newton's theory of gravity with this brick on the overpass!"...said the kid who caused the pile-up. "I'm sorry" just doesn't cut it. I see you taking the generous view, which I respect, but society doesn't function if destruction doesn't have
@the_c0nnector @bigpeyYT Personally working as a penetration tester I have seen people get burned countless times for being overambitious about their testing ideas and limitations. And I would hate to see someone have their entire life ruined for such a simple mistake.

Drep Vote: NO on Snek’s 2nd proposal for loan As per my previous 'No' vote on functionally the same proposal submitted by Snek - I do not believe this negligible interest rate is a financially rational compensation for the very high risk that as a CFA Charterholder I analyze

Drep Vote: NO on Cardano Constitution 2.3 As a DRep, I have voted against the adoption of the Cardano Constitution 2.3 draft due to two major concerns and one minor, yet important, issue. I firmly believe ratifying this draft exposes the Cardano community to significant risks

DRep Voting Rationale - Liquidity Committee Proposal Cardano’s limited liquidity has long been a friction point in the ecosystem’s growth. It’s reasonable to assume that this shortfall has constrained adoption relative to what might have been possible had deep liquidity pools

Summary My Fund 14 voting framework aimed to: •Reward capital-efficient builders •Discourage redundancy and grift •Prioritize scalable, interoperable, and ROI-positive use cases •Treat Catalyst funds as a strategic treasury, not a charity

Cross-Cutting Evaluation Principle For every proposal, I asked a single question: “Should this be funded publicly, or privately?” Projects arguing that something is vital to the ecosystem, but which wouldn’t be profitable made a compelling case for public R&D funding — if they

Factors That Raised My Bar (↓ Probability of a YES Vote) 1.Proposal saturation — Multiple unrelated proposals from the same individual or team (“spray and pray”) signaled poor focus or probability opportunism. Generally abstained from all if >4 proposals per team. 2.Repeated

Factors That Lowered My Bar (↑ Probability of a YES Vote) 1.Commitment to return value to Catalyst — Projects which pledge to repay all or part of the Catalyst funding. 2.Real-world adoption focus — Initiatives tied to actual business, government, or industry applications. I

Catalyst Fund 14 — DRep Voting Rationale For anyone considering me as a DRep, here are the lenses I used to evaluate proposals during Catalyst Fund 14. I reviewed more than 500 proposals, and tried to apply consistent prioritization and governance logic similar to how I evaluate

Drep vote report: Snek Loan There is no doubt that Snek has brought tremendous activity, energy, and value to the Cardano ecosystem. The list of their contributions is long and well-documented in posts by others, so I won’t repeat them here. They deserve recognition for
