I’ve been playing the Dvorak concerto for perilously close to fifty years now (groan); but still, rehearsing it this morning, I realise how many questions I still have about it. A quality of all great music: it constantly challenges one afresh.

@MultiMrPhill One never loses one's muff, Sir. So I take it, the message is...best to stay away from Gail's Bakery then.

The lad I fancied throughout year 9 text me in the holidays saying he liked me too. When we got back to school it transpired it was the other Rachael in my class that he liked and meant to text. Our names weren’t even spelt the same. Brb, just off to cry again 19 years later.
What was your harshest rejection? I’ll go first. One time, a super charming guy I had a crush on took me out to dinner a few times, invited me to a swanky gala, had me over for Thanksgiving, and then introduced me to his buddy as “a girl I wish was my sister”.

My cousin @RobertoFerdenzi asked a trainer at his local gym what kind of machine he should use to make himself more attractive to women. Trainer told him to try a cash machine 😕

Not hearing talk in this election about the shocking levels of homelessness.. my heart breaks to see people brought so low in a Country that has so much money that could be used to fund mental health services, drug rehab, council housing.. homes for children leaving state care

Happy Birthday William Hogarth, 322 today! Our trustees celebrated with a slap-up supper last night (a huge #Mackens rib of beef) and our wreath, sponsored #Chiswick'sPot Pourri @ppflowers, is in place at his statue.
