If you’re talking down the way Taylor is to a marginalized population that many people are ignoring then you’re no ally.

Coming back on here to point out that in 2018 I brought the issue of Section 230 on the main stage of @defcon AND @hopeconf while pregnant. No matter how snide Taylor is being in this post, sex workers have actually been posting and talking about this issue constantly.

Trump loving adult performers crying foul over winding up on “no” lists for other performers would do well to remember that performers who have spoken up about abusive working conditions, assault, or non-payment used to be routinely refused for work by entire studios & companies.

If using an app works well for you, then keep using it. It’s a fantastic option. If journaling is a better fit, then journal. If putting a marker on a calendar is what works, keep it up. You don’t have to justify or defend why a method is your favorite.

Many people experience convenience and consistency with an app, some others feel estranged from themselves or overwhelmed with a tech based mediator especially since we now have devices that log a lot of data about our bodies.
