P4-5 lunchtime bookclub had a lively discussion about what we would do if we saw an actual Snowman come to life. We are very much enjoying Michael Morpurgo's version of the classic story. Some of us opted to make our own spiral snowmen today. #harrysmuirreads

As part of our Burns' celebrations, P4B enjoyed exploring the Scots language today. After reading #neepsandtatties, we successfully managed to match up all the Scots words with their English equivalent. We ken them all! @NBMScotland @HarrysmuirPS #harrysmuirreads

P4 are learning about the Scottish wars of Independence. Today we made a ragman roll and created our own seals. We had a very lively discussion on how it might feel to be forced to add our seals to the document. @HarrysmuirPS

239 children @HarrysmuirPS will be receiving their pin badges this week to celebrate taking part in the TCS mini-marathon for schools. They had lots of fun completing their 2.6 miles. Well done to all!
