It would be so much more compelling to be able to be open and say ‘it’s critically important to fix funding, so I’m/we are …..’ and then list openly what you do. Is it just the way media covers news that omits actions, or is it our bureaucratic era of pretty words to appease us?

It’s so disheartening hearing the people whose job it is to fix funding for public schools lament that it needs to be fixed. I don’t care about your words, I care about your actions. Don’t lament it, just fix it.
