I can count on one hand the number of crypto VCs with operator experience. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of great investors in the space right now. But too many funds write checks and too few help founders actually build. And it's holding the industry back. @neilhar_

a fully financial-focused network was always the vision beyond diem/libra, the kind of backbone that would’ve been a perfect fit for the new L1 wave in 2022. good to see @matthuang and team running that playbook in 2025. execution and timing are key difference-makers in
Tempo testnet is now open to anyone. It's been a pleasure working with great design partners to shape the chain: from teams moving billions across borders, to banks testing tokenized deposits, to AI companies exploring agentic flows. Come check it out!

We believe in the founders before their mothers
When we write a check, we're usually the first people to believe in a founder. (After their mother, of course.) And that belief had value beyond the money. Having "Draper" next to your name opens doors. It gives you credibility. It signals to other investors, customers, and

I'm not an expert but Ive been looking at crypto startups for 5 straight years now 99% of cases your "marketing problem" is that you built something no one needs, you're bad at product hard pill to swallow the only marketing problem in crypto is that it's mostly marketing

3.5 years ago I was pushed out of the company I founded. I’ve never shared this. They’re doing great work and I wish them the best. I just want people to know I’m not a quitter. All in on the mission. Always have been.
