#oralhistorians how do you handle narrators editing their own transcripts? This is after I’ve created the transcript and sent it to them for redactions. I chose to leave in filler words which I get makes folks uncomfortable, but just curious if this happens to others?

Imagine my disdain when I travel back to the states, being away for almost 9 months, and I’m hit with this generic white goop. I was very sad.

Now, last year a new contender entered the sauce war. No discernible brand just “house blend ranch dressing”. This was even worse than made-for-salad hidden valley. What was even happening at @CookOut HQ that you’ve abandoned brand loyalty? And honestly, what the heck is this?

The thing about this stuff is it’s salad dressing ranch. It does nothing for your delicious onion rings. Now @HVRanch is my go to for dressing but you’re missing that tangy goodness that @Hellmanns brings.

When it became apparent you were switching to @HVRanch, I ordered a case of 100 individual @Hellmanns sauces in order to take my own ranch. I still get emails from this restaurant supply company because of it.
