Not knowing the amount of our ever increasing greenhouse gas emissions and won't make it any less a fact. So tragic that great science is being put into the dustbin. Why?.
Will this be the last Keeling curve upate from NOAA for CO2 at Mauna Loa?. June 2025: 429.61 ppm. This may be a tragic moment:

Diplomacy is needed now more than ever. Given the urgency and increasing need for resources to achieve global sustainability, we need to ⬆️ our response on the triple planetary challenges of nature loss, pollution and climate change. We can -- if we make strong agreements like.
In the first installment of #scidip's Guest Editorial Board, @MonicaMedinaDC discusses the most effective methods for coordinating international environmental action amid the threats posed by the triple planetary crisis. Read it here:

We need leaders at every level to take seriously their responsibility to protect our citizens. Climate change is real. It's making storms more dangerous and they are intensifying more quickly. They should restore the cuts to NOAA. Stop firing dedicated forecasters and weather.
“What we know with climate change is that these storms are more rapidly intensifying and more severe. So, at a moment when we need to up our game on disaster preparedness and on response, we are cutting the very links in the chain that keep people safe.”. Former NOAA Deputy

My heart breaks for the victims and their families. But we need to learn important lessons - we are not powerless. But our leaders must make good decisions. Invest more in weather and climate forecasting not less.

Thanks to @MSNBC @Morning_Joe for covering the deadly floods in TX. We are not powerless in the face of #climatechange. But we must increase #ClimateAdaptation -- demand federal action to restore cuts to the @NWS and @NOAA. And we must be prepared - know your risks and have a

So proud to have launched the IUU Action Alliance at the #UNOC in Lisbon. Even more excited to see how much it's grown since then. #UNOC3 @StimsonCenter now serves as its Secretariate and so many nations are joining! This is how we stop the ocean criminals! 👏🏻💪🏼🐟

DOGE took a wrecking ball approach to some of the most cost saving and life saving parts of government - including the @NWS. Weather forecasts cost Americans $4 a year and provide an 8000% return on that investment. Dangerous and Tragic.

It’s only a matter of time before the next Hurricane Milton is at our doorstep. But with our weather intelligence severely compromised, will we know it?
